“It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.”  - Charles Darwin

We made a big announcement today and our good, controversial friend Darwin sums up the entire reason behind it. The pace of technologic and even market change sped up orders of magnitude over the past 10 years. I was thinking back last night to 2006 when the idea of carrying the internet around in your pocket wasn’t much of a thought. What would you do with it anyway? Fast forward and now people like Larry Page think spending an entire day per week using only his smart phone makes him more productive.

This isn’t the same world as our…selves lived in a few years ago? It’s no longer our kids growing up differently. They definitely are. It’s also us being forced along the sea of change regularly. It’s the first time in the history of man that adoption rates are toppling on top of one another and leapfrogging is a common theme.

So what does this mean to the corporate enterprise that must adopt at the human pace? And a very large group pace at that. Are they doomed? Not if they create yet another process for dealing with change. That is just what we are helping them to do.

It’s going to be an exciting year of not only myself and TW leveling up, but all of our alumni and corporate partners as well.
